Band Spring Trip 2011

For the Big Red Band, we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. It was more than just incredibly fun, it was incredibly educationally fun! Every event, every stop, every restaurant, the driver, the hotel…..all were flawless. For Mrs. Archambo, the most fulfilling part of the trip was just at the end of the journey, when the manager of our hotel came out the hotel with our tour guide, Melinda. Both of them were proudly carrying a gift to the Coahoma Band. It was a box of hot dogs and food, which was presented in appreciation for being the “best group of kids the hotel had ever hosted.” She boasted that the hotel could hardly tell we were there, and welcomed Coahoma Band to visit again any time in the future. …….almost brought a tear to my eye. Thanks, my kiddos….. you’re the best!!!!!! Continue reading →
